  2. I was amazed when I started to see this series but I got so disappointed to see how you expelled a whole nation from the history! I know it's a rough time in the relationship between Iran and the US but how could you ignore the Persian Empire, which has changed the history of mankind in the way Roman or Chinese Empires did. How you could miss the discovery of alcohol (one of the most used substances in medicine during the last 12 centuries) by one of the greatest alchemist of his time Muhammad Ibn Zakariya al-Razi who was a Persian scientist or the crucial contribution of Avicenna to medicine? Or so many other influential things that have happened in Iran or by Iranians or through Iran during the history of mankind? Maybe it is too much to expect of a history channel to be fair and honest about the "History" and act independently! But if you can't be fair to make a series which is supposed to be the story of ALL of us, in the United States, who else can? I wish I could have some explanations for these questions.
